The Return of Film Photography
The early 21st century witnessed a significant downturn in film photography with the rapid rise of digital technology, marking a pivotal moment in the history of photography. However, the past three years have borne witness to a renaissance of film photography. This resurgence has not only invigorated the industry but has also introduced film photography to a digital-native audience, igniting a fresh wave of interest in the art form. The tangible, hands-on nature of film photography, its timeless aesthetics, the gratification of waiting for a roll of film to develop, and holding something meaningful and tangible have all contributed to this remarkable revival.
